Work Keys

All MJHS seniors will take the Work Keys test the morning of December 6, 2017. This test will be administered online and consists of three sections: Applied Math
Locating Information (also called Graphic Literacy)
Reading for Information (also called Workplace Documents)

The test is scored on a 7-point scale, and a minimum score of four is required on all three tests to earn a certificate. This certificate is being required more frequently by potential employers and can help students obtain a job after high school or while in college. This test is also one of the areas in which the school receives yearly evaluation.

To prepare for the test, students are encouraged to use the KeyTrain practice test. Some students will be practicing during the school day as their schedule allows. The practice test can be accessed from home or school.
