Saturday, July 1st: Congratulations to Daniel Meadows and Aaron Stephens on their 4th place finish in the 2017 High School Fishing WORLD FINALS held at Pickwick Lake in Florence, AL! Read more about it from the North Jefferson News

Saturday, May 6th: The MJ Bass Club finished 9th as a team in the State Championship tournament this past weekend! MJ Bass Club finished the year 11th out of 80 teams in the State of Alabama for team of the year.
Highest finishers this weekend: Caden Montgomery and Lake Gurley finished 13th out of 203 boats in the State tournament and Daniel Meadows and Aaron Stephens finished 27th.


Saturday, April 22nd: The Bass Club fished the Neely Henry B.A.S.S. event with 226 boats. The school team finished 3rd overall in the tournament. Ryan Elsberry and Jonathon Hodges came in 14th. Place and Daniel Meadows and Aaron Stephens finished 24th

Saturday, April 8th: The Bass Club finished 4th in the regional tournament at Logan Martin, with just over 40 schools competing and 198 boats entered. The club is currently 11th place in the state headed into the state championship next month. 

On Saturday, March 11th,  the MJ Bass Club finished 6th overall in Guntersville out of 204 teams! Daniel Meadows and Aaron Stephens took 1st place as a team and won $2000 in scholarships, Jayce Calhoun and Caden Montgomery placed 39th, and Ryan Elsberry and Jonathon Hodges finished 44th

Sunday, March 5th: the Bass Club sent two teams to fish the TBF High School Federation and we finished first and second! Ryan Elsberry and Jonathon Hodges took 1st place honors and a $250 scholarship. Daniel Meadows and Aaron Stephens finished 2nd and received a $150 scholarship.


Saturday, March 4th: the Bass Club fished Airport Marine, where
 Aaron Stephens and Daniel Meadows finished 6th out of 67 teams competing. Congrats on the $500 scholarship!


The ASABFA tournament took place the last weekend in February. There were 170 boats fishing and MJ finished 19th overall as a school, with top finishing team Aaron Stephens and Daniel Meadows placing 5th.
